When we talk about Fusion with students, we are looking at a God ordained process. Fusion takes two objects (molecules in science), one being bigger and one being smaller and joins them together. As a result, a totally new molecule is created and great energy or power is released. This is a picture of what we work to help students know about a relationship with God. As we work with students we are seeking to help them connect deeply to God through the good news of Jesus’ life, death and resurrection. We know that in this relationship there is daily power to live to honor Him and great joy in being known by Him through the indwelling of God’s Holy Spirit. This joy and power results from repentance of sin and faith in the Gospel and results in an ever changing life worked out by the Spirit of God through the study and application of God’s Word. We also know that as a student ministry we are taking very old ideas and giving them to a new generation. We are also some of the youngest people in the church in the oldest building in the church. So there is a lot of fusion going on!
